We have a full Communities Team, working closely with our Housing Officers and Community Assistants to help deliver a whole range of activities, events and classes to communities right across Northern Ireland and help support a greater level of Tenant Engagement. Training and education, arts, culture, health and wellbeing, family days and environmental awareness - young and old are involved, lots of fun is had along the way and new friendships are made.

We would love for you to share your experience, skills and knowledge to help shape and improve our services. There are many tenant engagement opportunities varying in scope and level of commitment.

Tenant Scrutiny Panel: Work with staff to examine services provided by Woven and help to identify and recommend improvements. Training Provided.
Editorial Panel: Meet with staff to create and review content for Woven's community newsletter and website Tenant Zone.
Regional Panel: Meet with staff to discuss 'everything Woven' to help steer our services and community events.
Scheme Walkabout / Inspections: Join staff to walk around our housing schemes and help identify areas for improvement.
Community Events: Work with staff to survey the interests of their community and be involved in organising relevant community events. Join in with events in your area as and when you can.
Interested Tenant Register: Join our list of local tenants, interested in being kept up to date with events and opportunities in your area. Take part as often as you wish.
Tenant Surveys: Tenants can have their say on the services and opportunities provided by Woven by completing short surveys. Take part as often as you wish.
Active Tenant: Tenants who are willing to get involved in organising and planning local activities on their own schemes.
Policy Panel: Tenants reviewing and making recommendations on Woven's Policies.
Mystery Shopping: Tenants who complete training can take part in an annual shopping which independently looks at Woven services and make observations / recommendations for improvement.
Residents' Forum: Representatives from each of the Regional Panels sit on a strategic forum, meeting quarterly to discuss province wide issues, to be kept informed of Woven business and have input into services.
We have a budget set aside to support Community Involvement initiatives. Our Aim is to support and increase the type and number of activities based at our schemes which promote a community spirit and provide benefits to residents.
