Fire Safety Awareness Week

Samples of the Fire Safety Awareness materials in print and online.

From 21 to 25 October 2024, we are promoting a Fire Safety Awareness campaign at schemes across NI. We've produced a range of posters, particularly for high rise apartments, to draw attention to simple safety guidance, and we're running a series of social media posts on our Facebook page through the week, highlighting specific awareness tips. We're also helping to share the NI Fire & Rescue Service Fire (NIFRS) advice on Home Fire Safety.

We are delighted to have NIFRS visit our sheltered apartments, complete with Fire Engine, to provide talks, guidance and address questions from tenants.

To help bring the message to a younger audience, our regular colouring competition feature of Community News, is being given a Fire Safety theme in the Autumn edition, and we're printing extra copies to encourage participation.

We are additionally signposting our own Fire Safety leaflet online to provide more detailed tips and guidance.
